Basic Definitions of the Gospel

I continue sharing basic definitions of the gospel that I have come across on the internet. What are your thoughts and comments on the three below?

Jacob Hantla
At the heart of the message of the Bible is the good news that God reconciled fallen mankind to Himself through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ His Son.

Martin Luther
At its briefest, the Gospel is a discourse (story) about Christ, that he is the Son of God and became man for us, that he died and was raised, that he has been established as a Lord over all things…This is the Gospel in a nutshell.

N. T. Wright
The gospel is the good news that the crucified and risen Jesus is the Messiah of Israel and therefore the Lord of the world.

FYI
You can see an updated list of all the basic definitions I have posted so far here on Google Docs.

I think my definition isn't complete but focuses on the crux of the issue...and I want to know how the heck I got listed with Martin Luther & NT Wright. :-)
