"We grow in our understanding of truth as we allow the biblical story to challenge our thoughts and imaginations. The starting point is the gospel. In making ourselves the starting point, or the center of the universe, we have alienated ourselves from reality. The biblical story reminds us that the whole earth is full of God’s glory. Experiencing this glory, this beauty, in this new way follows belief. In reality the beauty of God’s splendor is already on display. The gospel accepted in faith “enables us to experience all reality in a new way and to find that all reality does indeed reflect the glory of God."
